The EPIC Relay Race

Jason, me, my twin sister Amy, and my brother-in-law Chris, were part of a 12 member team that ran a relay race from Logan, UT to Jackson, WY; a 205 mile distance.  Most of the race route was in Idaho, so beautiful!!! The race was August 12th-13th, 2011.

Each runner runs a pre-determined leg/distance of 3-8 miles.  The runner on the road exchanges a timing bracelt to the next runner.  This is called an "Exchange."  This is Jason exchanging to Amy. 

 This is ME on my last run, running toward Teton Village Resort where the finish line was.  I was also the last runner on the team.  So they were waiting for me at the finish line as I finished my last leg.

 Jason and I designed our team shirts.  That was cool.  Our team name was "More Than a Finish Line".

WOW!  Are they twins or what?!  Amy on the left, Emily on the right. (just in case you couldn't tell. :D)

We started at 5:30am on Friday and finished at 5pm on Saturday.  We had a great race!
