Race for the Cure

1 mile fun run at the Gateway. Alakea ran full tilt sprints. We rested 3 times.  She finished! She loved it!!! I hope we have lots of races together.  That would be a fun bond to have.

Ropes Course

The "Leap of Faith" jump. You climb the tree, mount the platform, and jump off and try and catch the circular ring. Can you see it in the top center? I was up there for 15 minutes before I jumped and slapped the ring. Jason got the ring on his first jump, only standing there for less than 30 seconds. We did it!
