Quarterly Review

Jason's masterpiece of our outdoor Christmas lights this year. He was out for four hours in the dark putting them up, finishing at midnight.
Riding the Polar Express! We got a chocolate chip cookie, hot chocolate, singing, read the story, a visit and a recipe from Mrs. Claus, elf jokes, and of course a visit from Santa Claus. The kids LOVED it!

Kyden making Rice Krispie Treats with me for our friends.

Dinner at the Cracker Barrel after we cut down our Christmas tree. It's our annual tradition.
Alakea at the tree cutting site. We had a mini snowball fight too. We were only 24inches apart.
Kyden's boots were too big for him and he was having a hard time managing them. We ended up loosing one in the mountains. He's getting a new smaller pair from Santa.
Because of our timing, we cut the tree down just as night fell. We threw it on the tarp, put the kids beside the tree, and Jason and I grabbed opposite ends of the "sled" and down we went down the mountain. The kids were screaming and crying on the bumping ride down the mountain. It was the fastest way down in the cold dark night. After warming up in the car for 10minutes while Jason trimmed the tree down outside they forgave us. What a night to remember for so many reasons.

Talene, you caught me in the middle of posting and writing this post. I've learned to publish my pictures as I go, because I've lost all of my work before. So with the captions in you should have a better idea now. ;D Thanks for checking and posting on the blog!
