Our Backpacking Trip to Kabel Lake

This is me at the END of our trip. We hiked down the mountain in 2.5hours, no stopping. Rain falling down on us.

This picture was taken 5 minutes later. This is the SECOND fish I caught in my whole life. THIS time I cast out the line AND reeled it in. Impressive. I'm a fast learner, I suppose.

This is my first fish I have ever caught in my whole life. I've never been fishing before. Jason cast the line out for me in this one and I reeled it in.

Jason caught these fish as well as 7 or so others which he tossed back into the lake.

We had the lake all to ourselves. Friday, July 17 -Sunday July 19.
